Summary: NYC future!fic where Kurt and Rachel have an inappropriate friendship and Blaine wants in on that action. (I wanted to call this “Blaine Smash”, but I didn’t so you’re welcome)

After about a week of living in New York, Blaine feels like he’s finally starting to get a handle on things. He’d spent time there before, of course, visiting Kurt, though at the time staying in Kurt’s room and only emerging for food or the occasional half-hearted attempt at sight-seeing seemed like a good idea. Genius even. It hadn’t done much for Blaine learning how to navigate the city on his own, however. Particularly the subway. Though on the bright side, he could now say with some authority that The Bronx isn’t that bad. He’d made it out alive, at any rate.
And then there was getting used to living with Kurt (awesome) and Rachel (less so) and the fact that they already had a chore schedule and a bathroom rotation chart and agreements over who got to pick what shows and when and who cooked and how to divvy up the groceries and bills. Blaine had been worried that he’d be the perpetual third wheel when it came to the delicate balance of living together and he was, but not in the way he’d expected. Less of a useless spare part and more the essential third wheel of a tricycle. But one of those cool grown-up tricycles. With flames painted on the side. He should buy a tricycle. Actually, he should probably get home (home!) so Kurt could talk him out of buying a tricycle.
